Antioch Nonprofit and Kaiser Team Up to Support 200 Local Families
The August 1st event hosted by White Pony Express and Kaiser helped up to 200 families in Antioch receive groceries, hygiene kits, toys, and treats.
White Pony Express hosted its annual drive-thru giveaway at Kaiser Permanente Antioch Medical Center on August 1st, marking 32 million meals rescued and delivered. The event provided groceries, hygiene kits, toys, and treats to up to 200 families identified by local nonprofit partners, with volunteers and staff celebrating community health and service.

Oakley's fight against data centers may become permanent
Oakley extended it’s temporary band on data centers until April 14, 2027. This move may become a permanent ban if Oakley officials decide so.
Oakley city officials are considering a permanent ban on data centers after extending a temporary moratorium. During a joint council and planning commission workshop, leaders discussed tightening zoning definitions, setting measurable standards, and exploring ballot measures. The city is the first in the Bay Area to block data center applications, and similar bans are spreading nationwide.
