Our Community Feature for the week is Stu 212 Music Therapy Coping and Creativity.
Building Confidence Through Creativity: Stu 212 Brings Music Therapy to Bay Area Youth
In community centers, libraries, and schools across the Bay Area, something transformative is happening. Young people who arrive quiet and guarded are finding their voices, not through traditional therapy or counseling, but through the universal language of music. At the heart of this change is Stu 212 Music Therapy Coping and Creativity, a nonprofit founded by Jeremy Phillips that uses music as a powerful coping mechanism to help youth navigate their everyday challenges.

On September 18th, Sip and Scoop California will close its Brentwood doors. Owner Vicky Little invites all for free ice cream on their final day, while supplies last. We’ll miss you, Sip and Scoop!
Sip and Scoop California, a beloved Brentwood ice cream shop that started as a push cart in 2016, will close on September 18 after a decade in the community. The shop plans to celebrate with customers in the coming weeks and will offer free ice cream on its final day.
