But here's what makes it special: they don't wait for families to come to them. "Your typical barbershop does backpack giveaways and does free haircuts at their shop," Joanna notes. "Our shop, we take the shop to the school."

This hands-on approach makes back-to-school preparation accessible to every student, regardless of transportation challenges or scheduling conflicts. It's a moment Joanna describes with particular pride, one that embodies the shop's mission to meet people exactly where they are.
